Colour Trend: Autumnal Tones

It’s that time of year again and the magical moment when leaves start to turn into beautiful hues of gold and rust, never fails to inspire me. I’m sure it’s obvious that a big part of the Collection Seven furniture is inspired by a natural, earthy colour palette and the autumnal tones that we are currently surrounded by, reinstate my love for this trend.

A great way to introduce this wonderful colour palette into your interiors, is to mix an array of textures and materials, whilst making sure to stick within a particular autumnal hue. I am a huge fan of tonal design schemes and in this case I think that working with gold, brown and cinnamon is a winning combination for creating a timeless, warm and inviting scheme in your home.

Below I have chosen three of our fabrics that work really well together to create this look in your Living Room. Our Straw Velvet has so much depth and changes colour in different light making it a great fabric for a centre piece like your sofa. Add our Bamboo Linen on a footstool or ottoman to complement the velvet. Lastly, round off the look with our cosy Cream Faux Shearling on one of our lounge chairs and combine this with the Walnut Look wood stain to the frame or feet to continue this autumnal palette.
